The Payroll Specialist supports the Accounting department by performing clerical tasks, including processing regular and special payroll, preparation of monthly tax reports, enrollment and updating of systems records, and processing of government contributions in accordance with the company’s standard and procedure.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and reconciling accounts
- Processing regular and special payrolls including final pays for resigned employees
- Preparing monthly tax reports
- Managing system records in the payroll system
- Processing government contributions and loan requirements and completing other assigned tasks from superiors as needed.
Must Have
- Courses specializing in Accounting, Finance or any relevant courses;
- 0 to 2 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledgeable in handling end to end process of payroll and benefits
- Knowledgeable in DOLE standard payroll computation
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Extensive knowledge of timekeeping & payroll and MS Office
- Average communication skills
